Something brought you here. Maybe it's anxiety that won't quiet, or a depression that makes everything feel distant. Maybe it's a relationship pattern you keep finding yourself in, a sense that you're moving through your life without quite inhabiting it, or a transition that has surfaced questions you weren't expecting to face.
Whatever brought you here, I don't think of these experiences as problems to be managed. They're usually telling us something, and therapy is a space to figure out what that is.
My approach is insight-oriented, but I work differently with different people. Perhaps you want to understand the roots of what you're experiencing; perhaps you need more immediate support navigating a difficult stretch. I follow your lead, adjusting my approach to what you actually need rather than trying to fit you into a single method. What stays consistent is my attention to the fuller picture — not just the symptom, but the person carrying it. A consistent, honest therapeutic relationship turns out to be one of the most reliable conditions for change — and creating that is something I take seriously.
If you've spent a long time managing on your own, and aren't entirely sure therapy is for you, that's actually a reasonable place to start.
